Earnest Graham Will Miss Remainder of the Season due to an Ankle Injury
Posted by Philip Saponara on November 19, 2008
It has just come across the wire that Earnest Graham will be missing the remainder of the 2008-2009 season with an ankle injury. This will effect the ‘Buc’s chance’s this year to go deep into the playoffs. Graham was a key factor in the run game and his absence in the last game blaintly hurt them in many different ways. Graham left on the first play from scrimmage and later returned with a protected medical boot on his ankle. In Tampa’s next five games they play Detroit, New Orleans, Carolina, Atlanta, and San Diego. All of those teams are currently in the playoff hunt with the exception with Detroit all of these teams could pose a threat to the Bucaneers next few games. If John Gruden and Jeff Garcia need to step up is now because they are in the thick of the playoff hunt and with their prime time running back down there could be trouble brewing in Florida.
